About Gerald Michael Shaw
Drawing upon more than four decades of experience managing banks and financial institutions, Gerald Michael Shaw is the global compliance officer at Dominion Bank & Trust Company Limited, where his responsibilities include drafting and revising compliance policies and procedures, advising on regulatory matters, and assessing and reviewing prospective clients. He also developed the trust's Compliance Management Manual, which ensures compliance with anti-money laundering and know your client procedures. In addition, Gerald Michael Shaw represents and advises key clients like the New England Farm Workers Council and its affiliate agencies, as well as the Coin Exchange Bank.
Mr. Shaw has served in this capacity since 2016, and concurrently holds the position of managing director of Dignity Development Fund and Outvst Accelerator Hedge Fund, both of which are based in Puerto Rico. He previously worked for more than two decades at Rutter Group, where he focused on financial curriculum development and taught banking, finance, and insurance.
Supplementing his extensive banking and compliance experience, Mr. Shaw completed a compliance and regulatory degree at Pace University in partnership with the Association of International Bank Auditors. He also holds a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from the University of Southern California.
